FIVE RUNWAY-INSPIRED SHOEPERBOWL DRAFT PICKS

January 05, 2017

Shoe lovers everywhere unite! The holiday season may have wrapped up but for the month of January we’re giving you a new reason to celebrate with Shoeper Bowl. For every new pair of shoes you purchase from Londonderry Mall or donate to Guest Services, you get a chance to win free shoes for a year! Yes, you read that right, free shoes for an entire year with 12 x $100 Londonderry gift cards to spend on shoes all year long. The Super Bowl may be the biggest sporting event of the year, but Shoeper Bowl will be the event of the year for fashionistas everywhere.

To get you prepped, warmed up and conditioned for what’s going to be an intense season, we’ve created a draft pick list of our favourite shoes inspired by runway looks. Warning: Be prepared to drool.

1. Calvin Klein Fanna Calf Hair Chain Accent Loafers, Hudson’s Bay (coming soon)

From Tory Burch to Manolo Blahnik, loafers were a staple in every designer’s collection this season. These Calvin Klein loafers will help boost your work wardrobe, easily making you the envy of everyone at the office.

2. Yanni Booties, Naturalizer

These booties have all the elements of runway style with the stacked heel and peep toe features. A similar design can be seen in Carven’s spring 2017 collection, however they can’t compete with this pair’s incorporation of both comfort and style with its N5 Contour technology – keeping your arch and heel supported. After work happy hour drinks have never looked or felt better.

3. Legal Leg Wrap Sandal, Call it Spring

Whether you’re headed on a hot holiday or just prepping for spring, these lace up sandals will easily be your go-to staple. Inspired by John Galliano’s Spring 2017 collection, the neutral tone and lace up detail will have you turning heads at the beach and beyond.

4. Suede-Like Over-The-Knee Boot, Le Chateau

Over-the-knee boots were all over the runway this season and all over the legs of celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lawrence. These Le Chateau boots pair well with denim for a weekend look, or with a dress and duster jacket for an evening out. For a fraction of the price of the Stuart Weitzman pair, these boots are an obvious draft pick.

5. Velvet Heels, Call It Spring, Payless Shoe Source, Ardene and Hudson’s Bay (similar styles)

Velvet is all the rage on the runway for Spring 2017 and these light pink heels will have you crushing hard all season. Inspired by Valentino, these shoes are sure to be a date night hit.
